An analyst specializing in cryptocurrencies and trading believes that a group of meme coins, including Pepe (PEPE), are on the verge of experiencing significant breakout rallies.
Altcoin Sherpa, a pseudonymous analyst, shared with his 219,100 followers on X that Ethereum (ETH) based meme coin PEPE, along with Solana (SOL) based meme tokens dogwifhat (WIF) and Popcat (POPCAT), are approaching their immediate resistance levels.
“Big-cap memes loading for the next leg up. PEPE, WIF, POPCAT.”
According to the analyst’s chart, PEPE is expected to break out after surpassing the resistance level at $0.0000128. Currently, PEPE is valued at $0.0000177.
Regarding WIF, the analyst suggests that the altcoin is nearing its diagonal resistance around $2.50. At present, WIF is trading at $2.33.
As for POPCAT, Altcoin Sherpa indicates that the critical level to surpass is $0.9389. POPCAT is currently trading at $0.7339.
The analyst also mentions his positive outlook on Solana, a competitor to Ethereum.
“Only a few key levels before all-time high. Still think this is a good one for the next several months.”
Currently, Solana is priced at $180.
Altcoin Sherpa also expresses optimism about Core (CORE), a project designed to function as a highly scalable smart contract platform alongside Bitcoin (BTC).
“I think this is going to be ok now. 200-day EMA tested, let’s go higher.”
At present, CORE is trading at $1.32.
However, the analyst is less optimistic about the layer-1 project Toncoin (TON) in the medium term, although he maintains his belief in the asset in the long run.
“One of the strongest coins on the market the last few months looks a bit iffy in the mid-term. Wondering if that $5 level (200-day EMA) is going to get tested in the coming weeks. Still think TON has a lot of opportunity though this cycle and long-term bullish.”
TON is currently valued at $6.62.
