Following his release from prison after serving a four-month sentence, Changpeng Zhao, the founder and former CEO of Binance, is now focusing on his future plans.
Zhao mentioned that he will be dedicating a significant amount of time to Giggle Academy, his non-profit education startup aimed at reducing global illiteracy rates. The platform offers free basic education in an entertaining manner for children worldwide.
In addition to his work with Giggle Academy, Zhao expressed his intention to invest in blockchain, AI, and biotechnology while also increasing his contributions to charity and education. He is also in the process of writing a book about his life.
Released in September after serving time at a minimum security prison, Zhao resigned as the CEO of Binance in 2023 due to legal issues. Despite his past, he remains committed to the cryptocurrency industry as a passive investor and holder of crypto assets.
