Kraken, a leading crypto exchange, has announced plans to add 19 altcoins to its listing roadmap, expanding its range of offerings.
Some of the notable additions include memecoins like Peanut the Squirrel (PNUT), Neiro (NEIRO), and Notcoin (NOT), a tap-to-earn gaming token. Other memecoins set to be added are Fwog (FWOG), MAGA (TRUMP), Dogs (DOGS), and Moo Deng (MOODENG).
In addition to these altcoins, Kraken is also looking to integrate three new blockchains – DYDX, Arweave (AR), and Binance’s BNB Chain – along with their respective native assets.
While tokens listed on the roadmap undergo a thorough vetting process that can take weeks, inclusion on the roadmap does not guarantee listing on the exchange.
Kraken’s listing process involves detailed analysis, legal review, and a vote by the Kraken Listing Committee (KLC) to ensure fairness and integrity.
“The committee reviews each listing and then the committee members vote. If the majority of the committee supports the listing, we move forward. Why do we go to all this trouble for every listing? Two words: fairness and integrity.”
