Market intelligence firm Santiment has discovered that one altcoin, Virtuals (VIRTUAL), has experienced significant gains this year and is seeing a lot of activity from whales.
In a recent post on X, Santiment revealed that Virtuals (VIRTUAL), an AI project, has seen a 20,000% increase in value this year and is attracting attention from high-net-worth investors who are looking to accumulate this and other digital assets during the current crypto market downturn.
Santiment also noted whale activity in other altcoins such as Usual (USUAL), Gnosis (GNO), Aave (AAVE), and Floki (FLOKI).
Currently, VIRTUAL is trading at $2.74, showing a nearly 20% gain for the day. Just a year ago, it was trading at around $0.013.
On the other hand, Bitcoin’s recent drop below $100,000 has sparked a “buy the dip” mentality among investors according to Santiment.
Bitcoin is currently priced at $97,006, showing a slight decrease in the last 24 hours.
