President Trump’s World Liberty Financial Forms Partnership With Ondo Finance To Boost RWA Adoption

President Donald Trump’s groundbreaking decentralized finance (DeFi) initiative has joined forces with real-world asset (RWA) tokenization platform Ondo Finance (ONDO) to drive RWA adoption.

In a recent announcement on the social media platform X, the team behind Ondo Finance revealed a partnership with World Liberty Financial (WLFI) to bridge the gap between traditional finance and blockchain technology.

Ondo disclosed that WLFI is incorporating Ondo’s tokenized assets, including the stablecoin Ondo US Dollar Yield (USDY) and the Ondo Short-Term US Treasuries Fund (OUSG), into its network as treasury reserve assets.

Moreover, WLFI intends to integrate USDY, OUSG, and other tokenized securities from Ondo’s upcoming global markets to facilitate seamless borrowing, lending, and margin trading for eligible clients.

“Through this partnership, World Liberty Financial aims to play a vital role in Ondo’s mission to expand Ondo Global Markets, a platform designed for tokenizing traditional financial assets like stocks and bonds.”

According to Donald Trump Jr., the “Web3 Ambassador” at WLFI,

“Our collaboration with Ondo Finance represents a significant stride towards aligning traditional financial systems with blockchain innovation. By incorporating Ondo’s tokenized assets, we are offering our network access to traditional financial instruments and new yield opportunities.”

Current data from blockchain analytics firm Arkham indicates that WLFI holds approximately $465,000 worth of ONDO.

ONDO is currently trading at $1.37, reflecting a 1.6% increase over the past 24 hours.
