Changpeng “CZ” Zhao has announced that BNB Chain is currently working on a video tutorial that will focus on teaching users how to create an AI agent on its platform. This initiative follows the team’s outline of an AI-first technology integration strategy in their 2025 roadmap.
The roadmap includes plans to implement native AI agents into wallets to assist users with trading, spending, and booking travel.
CZ gave a sneak peek of the upcoming tutorial while also highlighting BNB Chain’s strong market position in terms of DEX volume.
According to data from DeFiLlama, the chain has recorded $3.7 billion in 24-hour volume and $31 billion in seven-day volume. This represents over 38% market share with a significant 66% increase in weekly volume.
“It all started with a video tutorial. Heard the team is making a new video tutorial on how to create AI Agents on BNB Chain,” CZ tweeted while sharing DeFiLlama rankings.
Data from Nansen reveals that BNB Chain’s active addresses have grown by 21% and transaction fees have surged by 388% over the past week. This growth is largely attributed to increased activity following CZ’s meme coin-related posts.
Earlier this month, BNB Chain released a tutorial on creating a meme coin on the Four.meme platform. This tutorial aimed to enable users to launch their own meme coins quickly and easily without the need for coding skills.
The tutorial inadvertently led to the creation of a test token named TST, which briefly surged in market cap due to its mention in the video.
Following the increased interest, CZ clarified that TST was not intended as a tradeable asset and was solely for educational purposes. He emphasized that neither he nor Binance held any of the tokens, distancing themselves from any endorsement.
CZ, the former CEO of Binance, recently expressed interest in creating a meme coin inspired by his Belgian Malinois dog using the dog’s name and photos. He mentioned considering revealing his dog’s name and photos.
On Thursday, CZ revealed his dog’s name, Broccoli, and dismissed rumors about launching a meme coin based on the pet.
While CZ stated that he would not create a meme coin himself, he hinted that the BNB Foundation might support community-driven tokens on the BNB Chain. He promised to leave meme coin creation to the community after sharing his dog’s photo and name.
This revelation resulted in the creation of numerous Broccoli-themed meme coins, which quickly spread across platforms like Solana’s Pump.fun and Four.meme.
BNB Chain received criticism for being late to the AI agent trend, with one Twitter user telling CZ to “give it a rest” after a recent tweet. CZ responded by downplaying the timing, stating that “being late is not a problem” and emphasizing that his team continues to innovate and build.
