New Dog-Themed Memecoin DOGINME Rips Following Addition to Coinbase Listing Roadmap

A new dog-themed memecoin has surged in popularity after being included in Coinbase’s listing roadmap.

In a recent post on X, the leading US-based cryptocurrency exchange platform announced that it has added DOGINME to its listing roadmap, signaling potential support for the meme asset in the near future.

Coinbase’s listing roadmap is designed to enhance transparency and prevent the front-running of new tokens. The addition of DOGINME caused the memecoin to skyrocket, with its price jumping from $0.000366 on March 13th to a high of $0.00106 just a day later. As of now, DOGINME is trading at $0.00091, marking a remarkable 106% gain in the past 24 hours.

DOGINME, launched in February 2025, was created by Dan Romero, the founder of the decentralized social media network Farcaster. The idea for the memecoin originated when Romero jokingly mentioned having “that dog in me” when asked if he owned a dog.

“Doginme first emerged in February 2024 when Farcaster’s Dan Romero (DWR) humorously acknowledged his inner dog. Today, doginme symbolizes the community’s shared commitment to embracing their inner canine spirit.”
