Brazil’s Postal Service Seeks Blockchain, AI Solutions for Operations

Brazil’s state-owned postal service, Empresa Brasileira de Correios e Telégrafos, has initiated a pre-selection process for companies and experts in blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) to design solutions for its logistics and operational management.

The call for proposals, published in the official journal Diário Oficial da União on Friday, aims to facilitate the digital transformation of the agency’s services. The project, named Licitação Seleção Prévia e Diálogo nº 25000001/2025 CS, is concentrated on identifying cutting-edge technological solutions to streamline business processes, operations, and internal supply management.

“We are committed to fostering a collaborative and dynamic approach to discovering artificial intelligence and blockchain solutions for our business, operations, and recruitment challenges,” the company declared.

While the specific applications targeted were not disclosed, blockchain technology is commonly utilized for supply chain monitoring, document verification, and transaction security. The integration of artificial intelligence is likely associated with optimizing logistics and enhancing data analysis.
