Huawei Cloud’s successes with partners at its Go-Global Summit

Huawei Cloud made significant announcements at the Huawei Cloud Go-Global Summit 2025 held in Chongqing, China on March 24-25. The focus was on providing solutions and technologies to support Chinese companies in expanding their businesses globally.

Jacqueline Shi, President of Huawei Cloud’s Global Marketing and Sales Service, emphasized the importance of collaboration for growth rather than solo expansion. She highlighted the role of Huawei in guiding customers and partners through the global expansion process.

Shi also discussed the potential of AI in both traditional and emerging industries, noting how AI can enhance competitiveness and productivity in traditional industries while disrupting existing markets in emerging industries.

At the Summit, examples of Huawei Cloud’s work in finance, automotive, retail, and internet sectors were showcased. One such offering is Low Latency Live (LLL) targeted at media and entertainment businesses, ensuring smooth HD video playback without frame-freezing.

New additions to Huawei Cloud’s ‘Global Business Boosting’ portfolio were unveiled, including AI-enhanced security planning and consulting services, AI-enabled cloud meetings, and enhancements to AI Cloud Services. The Pangu models, tailored AIs designed for specific sectors, were also introduced.

William Dong, President of Huawei Cloud Marketing, highlighted the ecosystem of Global Business Boosting, covering consulting, cloud acceleration, and innovation services. Several partners shared their experiences of working with Huawei Cloud, including KingSoft Office and MINISO, who have benefitted from AI and big data capabilities.

Overall, the Summit demonstrated Huawei Cloud’s commitment to supporting Chinese companies in their global expansion efforts through innovative solutions and strategic partnerships.
