Viettel IDC Achieves Pinnacle Partnership Level with Broadcom’s VMware Partner Program
Cloud and data centre provider Viettel IDC has reached the highest partnership level within Broadcom’s VMware partner program. As a ‘Pinnacle’ tier partner for the Southeast Asia market, Viettel IDC is set to offer new managed private cloud services using VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), Broadcom’s leading hybrid cloud platform.
Enterprise customers in the region can benefit from this advanced offering to modernize their infrastructure and drive innovation, particularly focusing on sovereign cloud services that meet data residency requirements and other jurisdictional controls.
Mr. Le Ba Tan, CEO of Viettel IDC, expressed, “Being part of the highest-tier in the Broadcom Advantage partner program showcases Viettel IDC’s capabilities and highlights our dedication to supporting enterprises in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. By utilizing VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0, we aim to provide cutting-edge services and technologies to foster development opportunities. Viettel IDC is looking to expand its presence in Southeast Asia, showcasing Vietnamese technology regionally and empowering enterprises in their digital transformation journey.”
Achieving ‘Pinnacle’ status under the new Broadcom Advantage Partner Program, following Broadcom’s acquisition of VMware, signifies a strong strategic alignment and technical proficiency. VCF serves as the foundation for operating a modern private cloud, offering customers a consistent cloud operating model across their data centers, edge locations, and managed cloud infrastructures like those provided by Viettel IDC.
The VCF platform combines the agility of public cloud with the security, performance, and cost advantages of an on-premises environment. It delivers a unified platform capable of supporting all application types, from traditional workloads to modern containerized applications and artificial intelligence.
The ‘Pinnacle’ tier represents the peak of the Broadcom Advantage Partner program, reserved for the most invested and strategic partners. These organizations are acknowledged for their extensive certifications, a proven track record of sales and service accomplishments, and broad international coverage. Holding Pinnacle status indicates a partner’s deep technological expertise and ability to address complex customer challenges.
Vijoo Chacko, Head of VCSP Business for Asia Pacific and Japan at Broadcom, remarked, “As a Pinnacle partner, Viettel IDC’s expertise, experience, and industry influence will play a vital role in guiding our customers towards adopting a modern private cloud. With VCF, customers can benefit from a modern private cloud that drives innovation, manages cloud costs, and ensures sovereignty and security with data control, supporting better compliance and cyber resilience at scale. Our trusted VCSP Pinnacle partners assist our mutual customers in unlocking the full value of the VCF platform.”
