Industrial PoE++ Gb extender expands Ethernet range to 200 meters

\"\"A cutting-edge Gigabit Ethernet extender tailored for industrial and outdoor settings is now on the market, offering extended connectivity, robust power delivery, and IP67 weatherproof shielding. The LEP-0302G-bt-67-T is designed to support IEEE 802.3bt Power over Ethernet (PoE++) and has the capability to deliver up to 60 watts to a single connected device or 30 watts to each of two devices, depending on the setup.

Teamed up with a 90-watt PoE power source, this extender facilitates high-speed data transmission and reliable power supply beyond the standard 100-meter Ethernet limitation. When installed in-line, it can double the reach to 200 meters and, when multiple extenders are daisy-chained, extend connectivity to as much as 500 meters with a reduced PoE budget. This device supports data rates of 10/100/1000 Mbps and eliminates the need for an external power supply, drawing all necessary power from the PoE input.

The unit features a single 802.3bt 90W PoE input port and provides either one 60W 802.3bt Gigabit output or two 30W 802.3af/at outputs. Equipped with built-in PoE detection, it automatically identifies compliant devices and safeguards against sending power to non-PoE equipment. Its plug-and-play design allows for quick deployment in locations where power outlets are scarce or impractical.

Encased in an IP67-rated housing and constructed for durability, the LEP-0302G-bt-67-T is engineered to operate seamlessly in challenging environments. Its sealed, dust-proof enclosure, vibration and shock resistance, and wide temperature range—from –40°C to 75°C—make it suitable for outdoor installations, manufacturing plants, and other demanding applications. The design includes weather-resistant cable glands and supports the use of UV-protected outdoor Ethernet cables for enhanced durability.

This Ethernet extender presents a practical solution for extending power and connectivity to remote devices such as cameras, sensors, or wireless access points deployed beyond standard network distances.
