Developer activity remains a crucial indicator of the strength of blockchain networks, with Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Polygon emerging as leaders in this aspect. According to data from Santiment, other notable blockchains include Solana, Cosmos, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism, Harmony, and Gnosis, each showing varying levels of performance.

Ethereum Continues to Lead in Weekly Developer Activity with 9.5K Events

Ethereum maintains its position as the top blockchain in terms of developer activity, despite experiencing a 9.86% decrease in activity over the past week. The platform recorded a total of 9.5K developer activity events with 58 contributors, marking a significant decline of 93.54% in the number of contributors.

BNB Chain has emerged as the second most active blockchain, with 4.4K developer activity events representing a 2.64% increase in activity. However, the number of contributors decreased by 93.31% to 32. Polygon follows closely behind with 3.6K developer activity events, showing a 3.04% increase in activity but a sharp decline of 94.33% in contributors.

Solana saw a notable 21.75% increase in developer activity events, totaling 2.9K for the week. The platform had 20 contributors, indicating a 93.29% decrease. Cosmos experienced a 6.54% spike in developer activity events, reaching 2.7K, while the number of contributors dropped by 97.12% to 7. Arbitrum also saw a 3.2% increase in activity, with 2.7K developer activity events and 15 contributors, down by 94.77%.

Avalanche showed a 17.77% increase in developer activity, with 2.6K events, while the number of contributors decreased by 94.31% to 14. Optimism recorded 2.4K developer activity events after a 4.65% decline, with 13 contributors, down by 95.37%. Harmony saw a 22.21% surge in developer activity events, while Gnosis recorded 21K events, marking a 2.45% decrease.
