Keeta, a blockchain network for payments and digital asset transfers, has now opened its ecosystem to third-party anchor providers. This means that qualified fintech companies, banks, developers, and infrastructure providers can apply to offer their services through the Keeta network.
Previously, only services provided by Globetrot Financial Services, Keeta’s financial services subsidiary, were accessible through the platform. However, approved providers can now offer a range of services such as bank deposits and withdrawals, foreign exchange, stablecoin transfers, tokenized real-world assets, lending, and other financial products. Each anchor provider will undergo a compliance review before joining the ecosystem and will be subject to ongoing compliance monitoring.
The new system utilizes the Globetrot Resolver, a discovery service that links users and applications with approved anchor providers within the network. All official Keeta products, including its personal wallet, APIs, SDKs, and developer tools, will utilize this resolver for provider discovery. Additionally, official Keeta products will no longer support third-party resolver services.
To support the resolver and compliance program, Globetrot will impose small transaction fees on foreign exchange and asset transfers, as well as a monthly compliance fee for participating providers. A portion of the revenue generated by the resolver will be used to purchase and permanently burn the KTA token.
