Strive (ASST) has significantly increased its Bitcoin holdings by adding over a thousand coins in just one week, bringing its total to over 21,000 coins.
Between August 17th and August 21st, Strive purchased 1,110 Bitcoin at an average price of around $73,409 each, inclusive of all fees and expenses.
This recent acquisition has boosted the company’s total Bitcoin holdings to 21,356 coins, up from 20,246 the previous week, with a total cost of approximately $81.5 million.
According to a regulatory filing, Strive’s cash and cash equivalents have also increased to $171.9 million, while the fair value of other holdings has seen a slight rise as well.
This move aligns with Strive’s treasury strategy of steadily building up reserves, leading to an 11% increase in the company’s shares. As of now, Strive is trading at $20.14, marking a more than 33% increase year-to-date.
The filing detailed the recent Bitcoin purchase, stating, “During the period from August 17, 2026 through August 21, 2026, Strive purchased 1,110 Bitcoin at an average price of approximately $73,409 per Bitcoin, inclusive of fees and expenses.”
Previously, a filing indicated that the company held 13,311 Bitcoin as of March 2026, highlighting its ongoing accumulation efforts.
With this latest significant Bitcoin purchase, Strive has now become the seventh-largest publicly traded corporate holder of BTC, as reported by BitcoinTreasuries.NET.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $78,925, showing a more than 22% increase in the past seven days.
