Quant Price Surges 5X in Days as Founder Wallet Moves $6.97M QNT — Can QNT Break $400?

Quant price has experienced a significant increase, rising from around $60 in mid-September to a peak of nearly $372 before stabilizing at around $300. This surge resulted in QNT gaining over 400% in September, making it one of the top-performing large-cap cryptocurrencies for the month.

A wallet linked to Quant’s founder, known as 0x48E9, recently transferred 25,776 QNT tokens worth approximately $6.97 million to newly created wallets after seven years of inactivity. The wallet still holds 600,000 QNT tokens, valued at around $160.39 million at the current price.

The transfer represented only about 4.3% of the remaining QNT balance in the wallet. The newly created addresses are being closely monitored as QNT is trading at levels significantly higher than before the September rally. This transaction occurred as QNT’s market capitalization rapidly expanded, with the token now valued at around $300, boasting a market capitalization of approximately $4.3 billion and seven-day gains exceeding 300%.

Quant’s recent success can be attributed to its selection by The Clearing House to power its On-Chain Money Initiative. This initiative will leverage Quant’s technology to facilitate tokenized deposit transactions between financial institutions, aiming to clear and settle these transactions on a new network. The system will integrate with existing payment infrastructure, including RTP and CHIPS, with participating institutions expected to gain access by the first half of 2027. The Clearing House processes over $2 trillion in payments daily and is owned by 25 of the largest U.S. financial institutions.

Looking at QNT’s price analysis, the token has broken out of a multi-year consolidation structure, surpassing the $200-$250 range that it had previously been trading in for much of 2022 through mid-2026. The next major resistance levels for QNT are between $360 and $400, with a sustained weekly close above $430 potentially propelling the market to higher trading ranges.

As QNT enters October, it faces the challenge of reclaiming its recent high and overcoming the supply around $400. The deployment with The Clearing House and the resurgence of the founder-linked wallet highlight the positive developments for Quant moving forward.
