Arbitrum has expanded its on-chain presence, exceeding 2.4 billion lifetime transactions, while USDC lending activity on Morpho has reached $44 million in Total Value Locked (TVL). These achievements underscore the ongoing activity on the Ethereum Layer-2 network, especially in trading, stablecoin settlements, and decentralized lending. Despite the robust network activity, the price of ARB remains subdued compared to its transaction volume, with the token consolidating below a significant resistance level following a sharp rally in September.
The growth in Arbitrum’s network activity is evident as it has processed over 2.4 billion lifetime transactions, showcasing sustained usage within its decentralized finance ecosystem. The network supports various functionalities like perpetual trading, automated market makers, and stablecoin settlements, with Nitro technology aimed at enhancing transaction execution efficiency.
Arbitrum’s stablecoin lending market is also witnessing expansion, with USDC lending through Morpho reaching $44 million in TVL. The increase in lending deposits indicates a rise in participation in on-chain credit markets, where users provide stablecoins to earn interest while borrowers access liquidity.
Despite these positive developments, ARB’s price is struggling to extend its September rally and faces resistance near the $0.24–$0.25 range. The token has retraced to around $0.1917 and is consolidating below a descending trendline, suggesting continued selling pressure post the earlier surge. Trading volume has also decreased from the spike in September, indicating a cooling off of bullish momentum.
The key challenge for ARB is to sustain a move above $0.20 and break the short-term downtrend. A successful breakout could bring the $0.24–$0.25 resistance zone back into focus. However, failure to do so may push the price towards the $0.145–$0.153 support range, where a previous consolidation zone is evident.
In conclusion, while Arbitrum’s network activity and USDC lending TVL demonstrate significant activity within its ecosystem, the token’s price remains below key resistance levels. A breakout above resistance could improve recovery prospects, while a decline towards support levels would weaken the setup. Stronger buying pressure is needed to drive sustained upside for ARB, despite the positive network growth.
