An HR, Payroll, and Benefits Software Provider Launches Real-Time Payroll Software
A leading software provider in HR, payroll, and benefits, Ciphr, has introduced a new real-time payroll software targeted at enhancing payroll processing efficiency for private sector services.
The latest release from Ciphr is an enhanced version of Shape Payroll, a platform acquired by Ciphr in June 2024. The updated software includes a variety of new features aimed at improving user experience, such as a redesigned user interface and an overview dashboard. These features are designed to reduce the risk of errors and streamline manual payroll tasks.
Julie Lally, MD of Payroll at Ciphr, emphasized that the company has responded to the needs of UK payroll professionals by addressing their technology challenges. She highlighted the software’s quick implementation, API integration capabilities, and user-friendly interface that optimize efficiency and eliminate manual processes.
The new version of Ciphr’s payroll software offers intuitive navigation, streamlined workflows, robust reporting, and significant time savings. This enables payroll teams to focus on core responsibilities rather than administrative tasks.
Ciphr’s cloud-based payroll system is API-led and seamlessly integrates with various online business systems. It prioritizes real-time operations, ensuring that employee data like salaries and personal details are synchronized across the organization’s payroll system.
One of the key benefits of Ciphr’s cloud-based payroll solution is its rapid implementation process, reducing the time between selection and full functionality. This is achieved through retrospective parallel run testing, eliminating the need for multiple traditional payroll tests.
The system offers centralized data security, standard single-sign-on (SSO), online accessibility, and uninterrupted service during system upgrades or maintenance. It includes automation features for holiday pay calculations, backpay adjustments, earnings, pro-ration, absences, and auto-enrolment letters.
CEO of Ciphr, Sion Lewis, expressed his excitement about the new payroll system, highlighting its positive impact on payroll professionals who rely on Ciphr’s solutions.
