Solana’s RWA ecosystem achieved significant milestones in June and early July, with record growth in tokenized stocks, RWAs, stablecoins, DeFi, and digital collectibles.
The network solidified its position as the leading platform for tokenized equity trading and RWA adoption among active users.
Solana Leads in Tokenized Stock Trading
Solana reported that 95% of all on-chain tokenized equity trading occurred on its network in June. The cumulative trading volume of tokenized stocks reached $10 billion, marking a 180% increase from the previous month.
During SpaceX’s IPO day, Backpack’s SPCX token generated $108 million in trading volume within 24 hours.
Market analyst Defi Rocketeer noted that while Ethereum leads in RWA issuance with $16.6 billion, Solana dominates in RWA utilization. 97% of on-chain spot trading volume for tokenized equities took place on Solana, reinforcing its position as the primary marketplace for tokenized stocks.
RWA Value Soars to New Heights
In June, the value of real-world assets on Solana’s network rose to a record $3.6 billion, a 33% increase from the previous month. The number of RWA holders exceeded 292,000.
OKX Ventures data revealed that Solana’s RWA market surged from $873 million in January to $3.62 billion by July, marking a 315% growth in six months and reaching a new peak.
Token Relations reported that Solana leads all blockchain networks in RWA holder count, boasting 295,357 wallets.
Among the 15 largest RWA products on the network, 12 are tokenized equities, while the remaining three include GOLD token, U.S. Dollar Yield product, and tokenized reinsurance offering.
Expansion in Payments, DeFi, and Institutional Adoption
Major financial institutions expanded their integration with Solana in June, with Mastercard launching on-chain stablecoin settlement across 210 countries. MoneyGram, Toss Bank, and KG Inicis also chose Solana for new payment initiatives, with Toss Bank planning to pilot stablecoin-based remittance services on the network.
Solana’s spot trading volume surpassed Coinbase and Kraken on daily and weekly measures in June. The network introduced Frontier Traders, a global incentive program for active traders offering fee rebates and other benefits.
Defi Rocketeer reported that Solana accounted for 41% of on-chain spot trading volume in the first quarter of 2026, surpassing Ethereum and its Layer-2 networks combined. Over the past month, more than $3 billion worth of RWAs were traded on Solana.
Infrastructure Growth Beyond Token Issuance
Analysts highlighted Solana’s advancement beyond token issuance to support a comprehensive financial infrastructure around tokenized assets.
The ecosystem includes issuance platforms like Securitize, Ondo Finance, Superstate, xStocks, and Centrifuge. Oracle providers such as Pyth Network, Chainlink, RedStone, and Switchboard offer pricing data for tokenized assets.
On the lending side, Kamino, Jupiter Lend, and Loopscale enable tokenized assets as collateral. Decentralized exchanges like Jupiter, Raydium, Meteora, and Orca facilitate secondary market trading.
Defi Rocketeer described Solana as a platform where tokenized assets can issue, price, trade, borrow, loop, and settle on a single blockchain, positioning it as a dynamic marketplace for real-world assets rather than just an issuance platform.
