Crypto Market Could Reach $10 Trillion in Two Years, Raoul Pal Predicts

Raoul Pal is optimistic about the future of the cryptocurrency market, expecting it to reach $10 trillion in the next 18 to 24 months and potentially $100 trillion by 2035. The CEO of Real Vision believes that factors such as rising global liquidity, AI investment, stablecoins, and tokenized assets will contribute to the long-term growth of crypto.

Speaking at Suie Base Camp in Singapore on October 7, Pal noted that crypto prices are still below their long-term trend and emphasized that financial conditions have not yet shown signs of sustained recovery. This observation comes after over $1 billion in leveraged crypto positions were liquidated over a 24-hour period, primarily affecting traders who had bet on price increases.

Pal highlighted that Bitcoin is currently undervalued compared to technology stocks and trading below its long-term trend. However, he cautioned against expecting an immediate rally due to weak global liquidity conditions. He pointed out that factors such as long-term interest rates, oil prices, and the US dollar play crucial roles in influencing financial markets, with a weaker dollar and improved liquidity potentially signaling higher crypto prices.

In terms of AI investment, Pal dismissed concerns about a major debt crisis arising from increased AI spending. He argued that tech giants have low debt relative to their market valuations and revenue generation capabilities. While some AI infrastructure companies may face financial challenges, Pal believes that failures in this sector would not necessarily halt the broader AI investment cycle.

Pal also discussed the potential impact of stablecoins and tokenized assets on blockchain networks, predicting a trillion-dollar market for stablecoins within the next three to four years. He emphasized the importance of these assets in driving demand for blockchain technology beyond cryptocurrency trading, particularly in financial institutions and AI-powered digital financial services.

Looking ahead, Pal suggested that the traditional four-year cycle of Bitcoin may not dictate the timing of the next market peak, as broader economic and technological trends could extend the cycle. He reiterated the importance of considering long-term trends rather than focusing solely on short-term price movements.

Overall, Pal’s projections for the crypto market’s growth depend on factors such as continued adoption, improved liquidity, and increased utilization of blockchain networks for financial transactions. While he remains bullish in the long term, he advised investors to monitor indicators such as stablecoin supply, global liquidity, and interest rates to gauge the market’s direction.
