Signal Hound has recently introduced the latest addition to its product line – the RFS8. This advanced antenna switch, the RFS8, is now available for purchase and ready for immediate shipping. The RFS8 is designed as a single pole eight-throw (SP8T) absorptive solid-state switch, leveraging silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology to deliver seamless RF switching across eight ports with a frequency capability of up to 8 GHz.
The RFS8 8-Port Antenna Switch covers a wide frequency range from 100 kHz to 8 GHz, featuring direct logic control, a swift 230 ns switch time, and support for frequency or interval switching with compatible hardware. Operating within a standard temperature range of -40°F to 185°F (-40°C to +85°C), the lightweight RFS8 weighs just 1.3 lbs. (0.58 kg) and measures a compact 6.67” x 4.17” x 1.37” (169.4mm x 106mm x 35mm).
