World Mobile has teamed up with Protelindo, the largest digital infrastructure company in Indonesia, to introduce World Mobile Stratospheric, a revolutionary connectivity platform. By merging telecommunications infrastructure with blockchain technology, World Mobile is pioneering practical and revenue-generating solutions. The project revolves around a high-altitude aircraft equipped with advanced radio technology capable of supporting up to 500,000 direct mobile connections simultaneously. This cutting-edge technology has undergone successful trials with major telecom giants like British Telecom, Deutsche Telekom, and in the Middle East.
The primary objective of the stratospheric aircraft is to provide cost-effective, high-bandwidth, low-latency connectivity while minimizing environmental impact. Additionally, the aircraft’s payload capacity and endurance make it suitable for various applications beyond telecommunications.
In the United States, where a significant portion of the land lacks service coverage and a considerable percentage of the population faces unreliable internet access with connectivity issues, World Mobile aims to serve as both a competitor and collaborator with existing telecom providers.
