Samtec Si-Fly HD interconnects data now second sourced, assuring availability

Samtec, Inc. has recently announced a license agreement with Molex, designating them as a second source for the Samtec Si-Fly HD product family. This partnership aims to provide customers with increased product availability and flexibility in supply, offering a range of reliable connectivity solutions for various high-performance applications that require high signal integrity and density.

The Si-Fly HD product family is known for its industry-leading signal integrity in high-speed applications, supporting critical data rates for modern networking, communications, and computing systems. Under this agreement, Molex will be responsible for manufacturing and distributing these interconnects globally, ensuring continuous access to advanced connectivity solutions while benefiting from the collective engineering and support capabilities of both companies.

This collaboration signifies a strategic alignment between key industry players dedicated to delivering high-speed, high-density interconnect solutions for data centers, high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning applications. Customers can expect the same level of quality, compatibility, and functionality from Molex’s Si-Fly HD products, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems based on Samtec technology.

Samtec will be showcasing a range of high-performance copper and optical interconnects, including the Si-Fly HD family, at Booth #304 during the AI Infra Summit taking place from September 9-11 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
