A critical SmartConsole authentication bypass vulnerability has been confirmed by Check Point. This flaw affects its Security Management and Multi-Domain Management servers, allowing unauthenticated attackers to gain full administrator access to the management plane. The bug, tracked as CVE-2026-16232 with a CVSS score of 9.3, has a working proof-of-concept now publicly available.

Older versions such as R81.10, R82, and others are also affected.
